The United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold its inaugural conference tagged ” Engaging The Nigerian Diaspora In The Change Agenda: Beyond Remittances Into Sectoral Development” in the first week of December 2015 with executives of the party at the national level and public officials expected to grace the event.

The conference will provide a platform for interaction between members in the UK and key officials from the Party and Nigerian government.

The conference will also provide the opportunity for presentations from officials as well as eminent international experts including leaders of organisations which share our social democratic worldview.

The three-day conference, is expected to feature presentations such as: “The Aftermath of PDP Years – Education and Nation-Building in Nigeria for Nigerians,” “Battle-Calls for Better Accountability by Office-Holders: Idealistic sentimentalities or shallow warnings?” and “Equal opportunity for all – An examination of economic, social and cultural rights in Nigerian”.

The conference is fully supported by hierarchies of the party, government including the presidency, ministers and governors who are also expected to be in attendance.
