APC UK COMMISERATES WITH FAMILY, PARTY AND KOGI STATE
The All Progressives Congress (APC) UK Chapter, expresses deep shock and sadness at the sudden death of our Party’s candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu at the recently held, (still ongoing) Governorship election in Kogi state Nigeria.
This is a huge loss to the Prince Audu’s family, friends, party members both at the state and national levels, and the people of Kogi state, and we send our deepest condolences to all associates. We pray the Almighty God to console and grant especially the family and the people of Kogi state the grace to bear this great loss.
Prince Audu’s contributions to the development of Kogi and the Nigeria cannot be wished away; in politics, personal relationships and great vision for his people. That is why he was loved!
All agree that the foundation for virtually all the infrastructural development in Kogi state today bear the foot prints of Prince Audu’s vision for Kogi state and her people, just as he also contributed immensely to Nigeria’s democratic processes and growth.
We call on all patriotic Kogi state citizens to ensure that the memory of this great son of the state is etched in gold by continuing with the unrelenting pursuit of his vision for a peaceful and economically viable and prosperous state and peoples.
May God grant Prince Abubakar Audu, eternal rest in His bossom.
Dr Philip Idaewor
Chairman, APC UK.
